先週末、A氏の知り合いの日本人3人がオフィスに立ち寄ってくれて日本人が7人になって大賑わいだったこと。
社長は現地スタッフと交流を深め月曜に帰国した。トゥクトゥクまで見送ってくれた現地スタッフは2人だけだったのがせつなかった。自分が帰国するときもそんな感じになるのだろう。社長と空港までのトゥクトゥクに一緒に乗っていったが夕方の渋滞で空港まで1時間くらいかかった。プノンペン空港はオフィスの北西の方向だがその方向は.到着日以降行ったことがなかったから改めて見てみたかったのだが北側も大きなビルやショッピングセンターなどが多く都会的だった。オフィスがプノンペンの真ん中くらいにあり北側、東側は都会的、特に東南側は大開発を行っている。住まいのアパートがある南側はちょっと下町風情があり危険な香りもするが高級住宅もぼちぼちあるので気をつけていれば大丈夫だろう。
空港で社長と別れたあと、A氏と知り合いの日本人3人とプノンペンの繁華街リバーサイドで合流しておすすめのレストランとバーに一緒にいった。空港の帰り道バーガーキングのワッパーをトゥクトゥクの中で食べて満腹で、次の日もこのレストランで食べたらワインとにんにくがたっぷりな感じで久々に刺激的なおいしさの味覚を感じた。
昨日で10月も終わり、現地スタッフへの初の給料支払いの準備も終わって一段落。
個人の銀行口座のキャッシュカードもできた。口座番号が6ケタなのが面倒。
火曜からは再び業務コンサルタントとA氏と日本人3人体制で現地スタッフの研修を行っている。
業務コンサルタントが帰るまでのあと1週間でどこまで形となるだろうか。
